How it hears the music
Nearly any player works when the room can hear it.
LaZ listens through your iPhone microphone. It does not tap protected audio directly from Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, or other apps. Send that music to a nearby speaker, stereo, TV, or receiver, and let the room do the rest.

Keep LaZ open while music plays through a nearby AirPlay or Bluetooth speaker. Put the phone where its microphone can hear the room, and the visuals respond.

Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Sirius XM, and more
The source app does not matter when the music is playing through speakers the iPhone mic can hear. LaZ visualizes the sound in the room, not data from the player.
Not supported
CarPlay, headphones, and the iPhone speaker
CarPlay playback, wired or Bluetooth headphones, and music playing through the iPhone's own speaker are not supported. Use a nearby external speaker, stereo, TV, or receiver instead.
