Privacy Policy

App Data

• Your saved U.S. city or ZIP is stored on your device and used to request the forecast you ask for.
• If you choose current-location mode, iOS asks for permission and the app uses the resulting location only to resolve and request local weather. Merit Advertising does not receive or store that precise location.
• Apple Weather provides the iPhone app's forecast through WeatherKit. Apple processes the location and forecast request under Apple's terms and privacy practices.
• Settings, custom messages, and a custom logo stay in local app storage and the shared App Group used by the widget. Resetting the app's settings or deleting the app removes that local data, subject to normal device backups.

Website Data

• The live website preview requests only fixed Ocala, Florida weather from Open-Meteo. It does not request or transmit your device location.
• If you submit the Jotform contact form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, topic, and message. Jotform processes that submission so Merit Advertising can read and answer it.
• The web host may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp for delivery, security, and reliability.
• The website uses no advertising cookies, behavioral analytics, or cross-site tracking.

Use, Sharing & Retention

• Merit Advertising uses contact-form information only to respond to the inquiry, provide support, prevent abuse, and keep necessary business records. It is not used for marketing unless you separately ask for marketing communication.
• Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the app or website, including Apple, Jotform, Open-Meteo, and the web-hosting provider. We require providers handling personal information for us to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.
• Contact submissions and operational logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal, or business-record purposes, then deleted or de-identified.
• We do not sell personal information, create advertising profiles, or use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Your Choices

• You can decline or revoke location access in iOS Settings and continue using a saved city or ZIP.
• You can reset local settings inside the app or delete the app to remove its local data, subject to normal device backups.
• There is no account to delete. To access, correct, or request deletion of a contact submission, email info@meritadvertising.com from the address used in the form.

Children

The app and website are not directed to children under 13, and Merit Advertising does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so it can be removed.

Will LaZ Go Outside? is operated by Merit Advertising Corp. in Ocala, Florida. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
